Hollie tells us how she spent her £250 wellbeing bonus:
Life and work can be busy. Juggling our responsibilities whilst also finding balance and prioritising our physical and mental wellbeing can be a challenge.
Luckily, ReThink HR is a forward-thinking company that recognises the importance of employee wellness, and we were recently each awarded a bonus to spend on something to support our health and wellbeing.
As an active individual who spends a lot of time in the gym and on the yoga mat (as well as carrying some of the stresses of daily life in my shoulders), I decided to use my bonus to purchase a block of massages to help me to relax, as well as to work out some of the knots!
I recently had the first of my massage sessions and could feel the benefits immediately. Taking the opportunity to slow-down and invest in myself was fantastic, and while the massage wasn’t always pain-free, it was a great opportunity to wind-down. I definitely felt ‘lighter’ for the rest of the day and my muscles have loosened off already. I’m looking forward to the next few sessions being able to work a bit deeper on both my physical and mental wellbeing.
